About our Stages

Our recreational gymnastics programme is all about fun, movement, and confidence, tailored by age, not ability!

Little ones can start their adventure as Explorers (20 months–5 years) with playful parent-and-child sessions, move up to Beginners (5–7 years) to learn exciting new skills, and then to Intermediates (7–9 years) to build routines and shine like a star!

20 months – 5 year olds

Watch your little one discover the joy of movement. These playful sessions are full of balancing, jumping, and rolling games that build confidence and coordination. You’ll join in every step of the way, helping your child explore, laugh, and learn new skills together.

Once your child completes this stage, they’ll proudly earn IGA Badge 10 and move on to Badge 9.

Please be aware that these sessions are mandatory to have a parent with the child, as the adult will be taking part in the class too.

7 year olds – 9 year olds

Gymnasts at this level start to shine. They’ll learn new routines, perfect their technique, and begin preparing for friendly competitions. Sessions are upbeat and full of encouragement, helping every child build focus, strength, and pride in their progress.

They’ll keep working on the beam, bars, and vault, guided by coaches who make every challenge exciting.
