Terms and conditions

Welcome to our leisure facilities. These Terms and Conditions explain how you can use our services and facilities. Lampton Leisure Limited (Lampton Leisure) operates these facilities as an agent for the London Borough of Hounslow (LBH). All prices and major operational decisions are set by LBH.

Activity Bookings:

  • If you are not a member of our facility, in order to book activities, you need to first register for a free pay-as-you-go account on our booking system.
  • Personal data will be processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation. Lampton Leisure, acting as an agent for LBH, will only process personal data as necessary for the performance of this contract and in accordance with LBH’s privacy policy.
  • Non-members can book up to 3 days in advance for an activity.
  • Full payment must be made upon booking.
  • Customers should protect their password and login details as they will be accountable for any bookings made in their name, whether made by the actual customer or not.
  • While we will make reasonable efforts to assist, neither LBH nor its agent Lampton Leisure can be held responsible for any online bookings made incorrectly or in error by the customer.
  • If you do not attend your booking, you are not entitled to an amendment, transfer or refund.
  • All online bookings will be confirmed by email, detailing any transactional information.
  • You will need to provide evidence of your booking on arrival.
  • LBH, through its agent Lampton Leisure, reserves the right to cancel any bookings where necessary. In such cases, subject to the Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control clause, you will receive a full credit to your account.
  • Users should note that you are booking a playing space, rather than a specific court. Lampton Leisure reserves the right to reallocate courts as needed.

Court Bookings:

  • Any online bookings made on behalf of a child are the responsibility of the adult making the booking. The adult is accountable for the payment and the child must be in attendance and participate in the activity.
  • A court booking with adult and junior players must be booked using the adults account paying the adult rate.
  • If the court is booked under a junior account, only juniors are allowed on it. If at least one adult is present, the full court price must be paid.
  • The court booking fee covers the payment for the max players allowed on the court per hour (4 total including the individual who booked the court). Any additional players must pay the additional player fee.
  • Swapping players between courts is only allowed if all courts have been paid for in full.
  • Bookings made on behalf of another person or through a different account will be cancelled without a refund.
  • Discounted (Concession) Bookings:
    •  If you book using a concession discount, all players must be eligible for concessions.If any player is not eligible for a concession, you must pay the full court price of £15 (or such other price as confirmed by LBH from time to time).
    • Please bring proof of concession eligibility when you visit.

Court Booking Times:

  • Court Booking Times:
  • Your booking time includes up to 5 minutes to set up at the start, your activity time and up to 5 minutes to clear up at the end.
  • To ensure fair access for everyone, there may be limits on how many bookings you can make per day. Please check your local centre’s website for specific booking limits.
  • The booking holder must check in within 10 minutes of the booking start time to avoid being marked as a no-show.
  • Players cannot enter the court until the booking holder has checked in.

Moving A Booking:

  • Non-member’s can move their booking to another time or date (within the 3-day booking allowance) if we are notified before 4 hours of the booking start time.
  • Customers can request to move their booking by contacting the site by phone or email.

Cancelling A Booking:

  • Non-members can cancel their booking by providing at least 4 hours’ notice to us prior to the start of their booking (either by phone or email) and receive a credit on their cashless balance account. The cashless balance can be used against any future activity or product at our Lampton Leisure sites.
  • If a customer cancels their booking with less than 4-hours notice, no refund or credit will be offered..

Cancelling A Booking:

  • Non-members can cancel their booking by providing at least 4 hours’ notice to us prior to the start of their booking (either by phone or email) and receive a credit on their cashless balance account. The cashless balance can be used against any future activity or product at our Lampton Leisure sites.
  • If a customer cancels their booking with less than 4-hours notice, no refund or credit will be offered..

Cashless Top Up Account:

  • A cashless account is an account held that you or we have credited an amount of money to.
  • This credit once purchased or provided can be used to purchase either pre-paid activities and bookings or immediate bookings.
  • Once a credit has been added to your cashless account, either by you or us, it cannot be refunded.
  • If you owe money on any other account with us, we may use any credit balance in your cashless account to reduce or clear that debt. We will notify you before making any such transfer.
  • Credit on the cashless account will be valid for 2 years from the date of purchase. We will notify you at least 30 days before any credits are due to expire. Expired credits cannot be reinstated or refunded.
  • No interest is paid for any account that is in credit with Lampton Leisure.
  • In the event of any dispute, the leisure facility’s General Manager’s decision is final.

Guest Pass Terms & Conditions

  • Subject to availability and at Centre Manager’s discretion
  • Free day trial excludes any extra paid for activities (not included in gym membership) e.g. racquets sports, swim lessons, hall hire etc
  • Only one free day pass per person. After one free day pass any use at the Leisure Centre will be charged at the standard “pay as you go” rate at all centres
  • A person can only use a guest pass four times a year and only once in 3 months
  • Minimum aged 16 years
  • Entry to the Leisure Centre is subject to above terms and conditions and the Terms of Use of the Centres (please refer to your local Leisure Centre for details). Facilities, fees and classes vary per centres
  • You use the centre facilities at your own risk. We recommend getting medical advice before doing any physical activity
  • We can refuse entry into any of our Leisure Centres
  • There is no cash alternative
  • Lampton Leisure reserves the right to end or vary this promotion at any time

Responsibility & Conduct:

  • The booking holder is responsible for assessing the court and equipment before play.
  • The booking holder is also responsible for the conduct of all players on their court.
  • It is the booking holder’s duty to inform all players of these terms and conditions.
  • Any debt incurred during the booking is the booking holder’s responsibility and will be added to their account. 

Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control

  • If we are delayed in or cannot provide access to our services and facilities due to events, circumstances or causes beyond our reasonable control, we will not be required to provide you with a refund/credit in respect of the period during which you cannot access our services or facilities.
  • We will, where reasonably possible, consider providing access to alternative Lampton Leisure but shall not be bound to do so.
  • For the avoidance of doubt, an epidemic or pandemic (including, but not limited to, the Covid-19 pandemic) shall be an event beyond our reasonable control.

Health and Safety

  • Your safety is our priority. When using our facilities:
    • Please follow all health and safety guidelines;
    • Always follow staff instructions;
    • only use our equipment and facilities for their intended purpose and in accordance with any instructions available; and
    • Ask our staff if you’re unsure about any safety procedures.
  • You should not exercise beyond your own abilities. If you know or are concerned that you have a medical condition that may interfere with your safe use of our services and facilities, you should seek medical advice from a relevant medical professional prior to using our services and facilities and follow advice provided.
  • You shall be responsible for any loss, damage or injury you suffer due to your failure to comply with our health and safety requirements, misuse of equipment or facilities or exercise beyond your abilities. We shall only be liable for personal injury or death caused by our negligence.

Lockers

Leisure Centre Facility Attire

  • Lampton Leisure users must ensure to dress appropriately depending on the chosen activity.
    • Studios: trainers only unless session requires no footwear.
  • For everyone’s comfort and safety, we require all users to follow our dress code. If you do not comply with the dress code, our staff may ask you to leave the premises. You can find our full dress code policy at reception.

Injury and Sickness

  • For everyone’s safety, you must not enter our facilities if you are under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances. If we believe you are under the influence, we will need to ask you to leave and may report serious incidents to relevant authorities.
  • For everyone’s health and safety, please do not visit our facilities if you are unwell. If you must visit while recovering from illness, please take extra care to thoroughly sanitize any equipment before and after use.

Birthday Parties

  • Refunds will not be issued for any cancelled bookings
  • If Lampton Leisure need to cancel the Birthday Party, site management will arrange reimbursing the booking
  • Parent’s must supervise the children at all times
  • Swimming Pool Party ratios and Soft Play standard rules must be followed

Photography and Filming

  • To protect everyone’s privacy and safety, photography and filming are not permitted infacilities or without prior approval. This includes:
    • Professional cameras;
    • Mobile phones; and
    • Drones
  • If you would like permission to film, please email lamptongroup.comms@lamptongroup.co.uk at least 2 weeks in advance. Anyone found filming without permission will be asked to stop and may be asked to leave the premises.

Law and Jurisdiction

  • These terms are governed by English law and wherever you live, disputes arising between us and you shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts. 

Reformer Pilates Classes – Non-Member Terms & Conditions

Activity Bookings

  • Non-members must register for a free pay-as-you-go account before making a booking.
  • Personal data will be processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation. Lampton Leisure, acting as an agent for LBH, will only process personal data as necessary for the performance of this contract and in accordance with LBH’s privacy policy.
  • Non-members can book Reformer Pilates classes up to 7 days in advance.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Customers are responsible for keeping their login details secure and are accountable for all bookings made under their account.
  • Lampton Leisure cannot be held responsible for bookings made incorrectly or in error.
  • All bookings will be confirmed via email, including transaction details.
  • Proof of booking must be provided on arrival.
  • If you do not attend your booking, you are not entitled to a refund, transfer, or amendment (subject to cancellation terms below).
  • Lampton Leisure reserves the right to cancel or amend bookings where necessary. In such cases, a full credit will be issued, subject to the Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control clause.
  • You are booking a space in a Reformer Pilates class, not a specific reformer machine or position within the studio. Equipment allocation may be adjusted where required.

Reformer Pilates Class Bookings

  • Reformer Pilates packages can be purchase by non-member and full payment is required.
  • Reformer Pilates classes are subject to limited capacity due to equipment availability and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Bookings are non-transferable and must be used by the person named on the booking.
  • Any booking made on behalf of another person or through a different account may be cancelled without refund.
  • Participants must always follow all instructor guidance for safety and class quality.
  • Lampton Leisure reserves the right to refuse participation or remove individuals from a session where safety instructions are not followed.

Class Attendance & Timings

  • Classes will start promptly at the scheduled time. Late entry may not be permitted due to safety and disruption considerations.
  • Customers should arrive at least 5 minutes before the class start time to allow for setup and safety briefing.
  • You must check in at reception prior to the class. Failure to do so may result in being marked as a no-show.
  • If you do not arrive within 10 minutes of the class start time, your space may be released.

Moving a Booking

  • Non-members may request to move their booking to another time or date (within the 7-day booking window) if at least 4 hours’ notice is provided.
  • Requests must be made by contacting the centre via phone or email.
  • Moves are subject to availability.

Cancelling a Booking

  • Non-members may cancel a booking by providing at least 4 hours’ notice prior to the class start time.
  • Eligible cancellations will receive a usage credit.
  • Cancellations made with less than 4 hours’ notice will not be eligible for a refund or credit.

Non-Attendance

  • Failure to attend a booked session without appropriate notice will result in the loss of the booking fee.
  • No refunds or credits will be issued for non-attendance.
  • Health, Safety & Participation
  • Reformer Pilates involves specialised equipment and controlled movements. Participants must always follow all instructor guidance.
  • You should not exercise beyond your ability. If you have any medical conditions, injuries, or are pregnant, you must seek medical advice before attending and inform the instructor prior to the class.
  • First-time users may be required to attend an induction or introductory session.
  • Failure to follow safety instructions may result in removal from the session without refund.

Responsibility & Conduct

  • Participants are responsible for using equipment correctly and safely.
  • Any damage caused through misuse may be charged to the participant.
  • Respectful behaviour towards staff and other participants is always expected.
  • Any debt incurred during a booking is the responsibility of the booking holder.

Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control

  • If services cannot be provided due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including pandemics), refunds or credits may not be issued.
  • Alternative sessions or locations may be offered where reasonably possible but are not guaranteed.

Attire

  • Suitable activewear must be worn.
  • Grip socks are required.
  • No outdoor footwear is permitted in the studio.

Injury and Sickness

  • Customers must not attend under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.
  • Customers should not attend if unwell and must follow appropriate hygiene practices.

Photography and Filming

  • Photography or filming is not permitted without prior approval.
  • Unauthorised recording may result in removal from the premises.

HEALTH COMMITMENT STATEMENT

Your health is your responsibility. The management and staff of Lampton Leisure are dedicated to helping you take every opportunity to enjoy the facilities that we offer. With this in mind, we have carefully considered what we can reasonably expect of each other.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

We will respect your personal decisions and allow you to make your own decisions about what exercise you can carry out. However, we ask you not to exercise beyond what you consider to be your own abilities.

We will make every reasonable effort to make sure that our equipment and facilities are in a safe condition for you to use and enjoy.

We will take all reasonable steps to make sure that our staff are qualified to the fitness industry standards as set out by the register of exercise professionals.

If you tell us that you have a disability which puts you at a substantial disadvantage in accessing our equipment and facilities, we will consider what adjustments, if any, are reasonable for us to make.

YOUR COMMITMENT TO US

You should not exercise beyond your own abilities. If you know or are concerned that you have a medical condition which might interfere with you exercising safely, before you use our equipment and facilities you should get advice from a relevant medical professional and follow that advice.

You should ask a Lampton Leisure Colleague if there is any equipment which you are unsure how to use.

You should make yourself aware of any rules and instructions, including warning notices. Exercise carries its own risks. You should not carry out any activities which you have been told are not suitable for you.

You should let us know immediately if you feel ill when using our equipment or facilities. Our staff members are not qualified doctors, but there will be a person available who has had first-aid training.

If you have a disability, you must follow any reasonable instructions to allow you to exercise safely.

For completion by those aged 16 or over,

I confirm that I have read and understand the health Commitment Statement and I will only use equipment that I have been instructed to use.

These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time by LBH. We will notify you of any significant changes to these terms. Your continued use of our facilities after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
